Playmobil - Researcher on motorbike - 5237
A brave scientist keen to learn more about dinosaurs.
According to official Playmobil bumpf the eponymous explorer/researcher in this set is named Rick. Whatever his name is, he is perhaps the best and most comprehensively equipped Playmobil figure the world has ever seen. He is absolutely festooned with gear, and without his dirt bike, would be like a turtle on its back: unable to move due to the weight of his own doodads and accoutrements.
But what are human figures doing in a dinosaur theme, I hear you ask? Well in the Dinos theme, the dinosaurs inhabit not our past but a forgotten island, far from our civilisation, where time has stood still. The researchers are scientists who are on the island to study the dinosaurs (and, of course, to provide dramatic tension).
This Playmobil 5237 Explorer with Motorcycle set features:
- A 7.5cm tall explorer figure
- His very cool black-and-red dirt bike
- Many, many accessories, including a GPS, flashlight, camera, two saddlebag/boxes and morelike an ammonite, which if you didn't know, is an extinct group of marine invertebrate animals in the subclass Ammonoidea (true story)
Not suitable for children under 4 years.
Playmobil figures are 7cm tall and have hands that hold the various scaled accessories, arms that move, head that rotates and body that bends at the waist. Plus the ubiquitous smile of course!
All Playmobil plastic components are made in Germany, except for the figures which are made in Malta. All parts meet the strictest EU and US safety requirements.
