This set is the centrepiece of the Playmobil African Safari range, so in my opinion it’s the best one to get to start your collection. It has loads of separate pieces and even the smallest of them are made to Playmobil’s exacting standards and are very detailed. It’s the first African Safari set I gave to my daughter and she’s still playing with it today.

This is a huge set! The station itself has lots of space for offices and animal enclosure, which can be filled with some of the many adorable animals that it comes with. There are also two rangers and loads of good gear to help them get their job done. This set allows for really good role-play, or even story telling, with lots of variations. (Posted on 18/10/10)
